Tourism is one of the industries key driver for diversification and sustainable development of the local economy in East Nusa Tenggara/ NTT. 2017 is an important year for ASITA and tourism industry in NTT. We must be ready to reset our Business Development Plan to envision a new wave of tourism development to surge and more comprehensively fuel the transformation into a New Tourism Territory, a real Tourism and Leisure Destination of Eastern part of Indonesia.
ASITA NTT Chapter maintains collaborative relations with the tourism stakeholders to fully unleash synergistic effects and promote tourism diversification in NTT. In conjunction with our industry partners, we organize the Komodo Travel Mart 2017 with our dedication to set a platform for members of the tourism industry and other related industries to exchange ideas, build solid partnerships framework and share visitor markets. We should demonstrate NTT’s commitment, capability and creativity to ensure that our natural and cultural strengths to become a national and international choice for travel business or holidays’ destination within the next five years or decade.

ABOUT KTM 2017
- The Komodo Travel Mart is a Business to Business annual gathering between East Nusa Tenggara/NTT’s Tour Operators/Sellers with both National and Overseas Tour Operatos/Buyers, organized by ASITA NTT Chapter in collaboration with Hotels Association (PHRI) and other tourism stakeholders.
- The KTM 2017 theme, ‘Explore the Diversity, a Collaborative Destination Development’ indicates the commitment of Angkasa Pura Airports as one of the tourism stakeholders to extend their marketing and promotion supports for NTT’s tourism industry.
- As part of the ASITA NTT Chapter commitment to lead the tourism industry development, the venue of KTM will be moved within the provinces. After Labuan Bajo, Flores in 2016, Kupang City of Timor island is the host for 2017. Subject to infrastructures capacity and capability, the KTM 2018 will be targeted for Maumere city, Sikka regent of Flores island.
